Hello, Easter greetings by the way. Hey the other day I smelled smoke =
and heard a crinkling sound in the back of my preamp rack and later =
discovered the cause was my Presonus M80's power supply which is now =
deep fried. Well I took the supply apart and found that this dark grey =
thing on the cuircut board, I think it's a diode ->l, melted right off =
of the board. Any one know what this is? I can't get a picture just yet =
up on the net but I'll try and describe it.
It's appx. 3/4" by 1/2" by 1/4" thick, has 4 pins on the bottom which =
solder to the cuicut board, dark grey colored and is coded:
-->| RS*202L
RU A 90=20
+ AC -
Anyone of you electronics wizards know where the heck I can find one of =
these?
You guys are great,
Thanks
Rich
PS. By the way I broke down and got a Myspace site now. Check it out.
