Yesterday I was helping my friend some more with his digi 002 studio. We =
got his Otari MTR12 (1/2" 4 track) set up with two of the tracks =
inserted on the master stereo bus and two of them set up for channel =
inserts (thanks for the help LaMont ;o) but I'm having a heck of a time =
getting an external processor set up as a send effect. I tried =
everything. This is a very cool way to use a tape deck in a DAW =
environment BTW.

Also, I bought the FXPansion RTAS>VST wrapper for him and we can't get =
Pro Tools to recognize this. Any ideas why? Is there a way to point PT =
to a directory where the VST plugins live?=20

Since some of you people actually respond intelligently sometimes, I =
thought I'd ask here first.

Thanks,

Deej

Huh?.........the 002 is RTAS. We need to run VST plugins. OK now you've done
it. Expect a phone call when you least expect it.

;o)

call me stupid but you're trying to run vst's in pt right? so you
need to convert the vst's to rtas. or are you trying to run the rtas
plug in a vst host app?

btw, i know you weren't referring to me with the "intelligently
sometimes" remark but i felt compelled to respond...hey, i own a
mac...wtf you expect...sheesh...
