I scored a good price on an RME 9652 yesterday, and installed it in my Mac. Now I'm trying to get the Logic that's running on that Mac to slave to ADAT sync coming from PARIS - so far no joy. Can this be done?
Setup so far: Dual G5 with Logic + RME 9652
PC with 2 EDS, 2 MEC - MEC 1 = 2x 8i, MEC 2 = one ADAT card
Serial cable connecting the two ADAT sync jacks
2x ADAT cables bidirectionally connecting RME ADAT 1-8 with PARIS ADAT module.
1x WC cable between MEC 1 & 2. No word clock cable/termination between MEC and RME (I'll grab it tomorrow).
I'm beginning to suspect the answer is "not without converting to MTC". Anybody know any different?
