What did GWB inherit when he came into office???......letsee now......

1. The economy was tanking.
2. We were getting hit from every direction by terrorists overseas and there
had been no effective strategy to deal with it because............
3. We had no effective intelligence service to protect us from this.
4. We had no national energy policy and domestic production had been cut way
back so that we were at the total mercy of OPEC.
5. There had been no real effort on the part of the previous administration
to apply *real* pressure to Sadaam or the UN to force him to abide by the
sanctions that were but in place in 1991 so we were still technically at war
with Iraq.

Seems he inherited a pretty full plate. I'm no Bush lover, contrary to what
some might think here. I worked with Ann Richards camp
