I have been building an electric fence this weekend that starts in the
vicinity of the garden and runs to the SWC, then over to the SEC, then up to
the NWC of the property. Most of our house is shaded by one of the biggest
cottonwood trees I've ever seen. The little white blob that sits to the
right of the push pin that denotes the driveway is our horse trailer that is
sitting in the drive in front of the house. Most of the open area between
the corner pins is horse playground. The big blue rectangle below the SWC
pin is the thermally heated olympic sized pool at Trimble Hot Springs across
the road. To the right of the pin that denotes the Durango Silverton RR
Track is an area that is being prepped for a small shopping mall. This
program is pretty amazing. I wonder how often it is updated. It did not look
like this last week so I guess google earth is updated pretty frequently.

I wish I knew when the satellite overflew us. I'd put on a big yellow
chicken suit and go outside and wave at y'all.

;o)

Hehe, if not knowing is going to prevent you putting on a chicken suit, then
I'm against freedom of information. ;o)

Cheers,
Kim.

It's interesting. My house is on the appx same latitude W to E as the San
Jose International Airport, Fukushima (Japan), Seoul (SK), Wolongcun
(China), Mardin (Turkey), Astros (Greece), Catania (Sicily), Banzart
(Lybia), Seville (Spain), and in the US.... Richmond VA, Lexington KY and
(GASP!!!).."Liberal" KS.

Appx Longitude N to S would be Bighorn WY, Malta MT, (a little east of)
North Battleford (Saskatchewan), Kanuak Island (some province in Canada I
will admit to having never heard of called Nunavut-looks like the end of the
earth), Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia), Guiyang (China), Mong Cai (Viet Nam),
Garut/Bandung (Indonesia), Culiacan (Mexico) and Grants NM.

Damn!!! I glad I just spent the past hour of my life figuring this out.

;oD

A buddy of mine pulled up his house the other day and you could see his
wife was out on the deck sunbathing that day!

She didn't have a chicken suit on...

Sure .................we can hike up to bear country. Every afternoon we
usually walk the dogs up the trail, that is shown to the vicinity of the
well house. The topography of the map doesn't show the vertical climb
involved. It's a pretty steep grade (thus the necessity for a switchback)
and once you pass the well house, you're looking out over the whole animas
valley. It's pretty spectacular still. Continue a bit further west and
you're pretty much hiking out in to some primordial looking stuff. I usually
take the pups up there before it gets too far toward dusk. That's when the
top of the food chain kinda critters around here come out of the woods and
start foraging.
