Hello,
I read that some of you work still Paris with UAD cards.
Ok here is a brief summary if that could help.
First of all FXpansion gives 16384 normally latency.
If you though you will use the FREE Spinaudio DX lite wrapper and Chainer
VST wrapper the you can use 2048 samples latency (my powercore does that
instead of the 16384).
Also if you add another UAD plug then latency goes to 32768 !!
,With chainer though you can use the parallel fx adding which essentially
adds one over the other which many times is a good thibg then latency stays
at 2048 for up to 9 parallel UAD (powercroe) plug instances !
THEN if you have the Faderworks ad I do and many of you have bought you can
dead easy compensate for that latencies with a quick move !
If you want to use the automation in realtime with the nowline bar then here
is a tip.
Lets assume using faderwoks you detect an overall 8192 latency.
Then just grabb all you audio files across all submixes and move them ahead
to overcome that latency.
