That's gonna be the fix... I can almost guarantee it 100%.
If it doesn't fix it, then you've got some other kind of issue
going on that's not related to the dither noise itself.
Are you inserting the UV22 on every single track in SX? Or
across submixes? Just wondering where you're applying it.

V22? In that case, he should also try using

You may want to take a look at http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdmedia ... great
source of info for burners/players/media.

DanielAgreed.

You can get a nearly transparent sound out of it or dial in one with some
attitude.
Having an output control is really helpful and the 'iron' button is quite
useful.
For an overall pre, you can not go wrong with the GR NV

My main preamps are GR and API.
I find for some E. Gits, Kick, Snare, Toms, Bass and about 75% of the vocals
I do (mostly rock, pop) I mostly use the APIs.

And OMG, for Bass, an API into a DBX 160vu is the dream team come true.

I know this post is a month old, but I just ran across this issue
yesterday. this is actually a legit way to wear the flag. The blue
field is suppose to be closest to your heart. So if you wear it on your
right sleave you have to reverse the flag.

Don't read anything into it.

Peace,
BillHi all,

I used to hang out here all the time, but its probably been a few years
now. I just stopped by to see if there was still activity.

I don't use PARIS much any more except for basic tracks, then I move
everything into Logic Pro for overdubs and mixing.

I've been seduced by the plug-ins and automation available in Logic.
And yes, I can hear a difference on the mix buss... It still wrenches
my gut sometimes, but I can't help myself. ;-)

Last time I was here people were talking about using PARIS as a mix buss
for Native DAWs. Are there people still doing this? Is it worth it?

Thanks!
BillIn the UAD-1 meter control panel it will allow you to allocate *x* % of the
card's resources beforeit chokes. Open the control panel and set it to allow
around 95% resource rusge..

Anyway a bigger power supply is always better and EDS cards need very big
one especially if they are more than two cards...

a beep. I shut it down, then I reboot and after about 3 seconds I hit the
reset button, I hear a beep, the video card is recognized and then
everything is fine.

I don't know if it is the PSU or not, but if you're running 4 x EDS cards
and a full load of HD's, you're probably skating pretty close to the edge.
