HELP with PARIS Error Code 40/28 anyone?... anyone? [message #109312]

I know the WIKI used to have a list of error codes but it has gone away for a while. Does anyone know how I can find-out what causes this error code? My PARIS won't start.

Also, I have reason to believe it may be hardware-related. It was suggested to me by a reliable source that ENSONIQ might still repair a malfunctioning PCI card for a reasonable fee.

Anyone know how I would look into this, also?

Click on the link to thesoniq at the top of the home page. The will do professional work - not cheaply though. Ensoniq, probably not available as far as I know.
