For some reason, I'm not able to get the SPDIF working as I thought it should.
This is both with the stock studio control library and Mike's newer test
versions.
Anyway, I have a video component cable - high quality 75 ohm cable. I've
basically created a loop by hooking it from SPDIF out to SPDIF in. Cable
is 3 ft. long.
In the pathbay, I've set an external native insert on a pair of channels,
then in the patch bay hooked the inserts up to dL and dR pairs. No audio
gets passed through.
If I do the same thing with normal analog I/O, it works fine.
Ultimately, I'm trying to slave a FW410 interface to work with Reaper and
would like to use the PARIS A/D for capture, passing it back to Reaper digitally.
I'm all ears for ideas here. Thanks!
Oh yeah, this is on XP dual core Athlon64 system.
