It looks like Apple has filled in a lot of holes in the suite. A
timeline that can play back multiple formats together without rendering?
It's about @#$^*& time, I can use that yesterday. Bring it on!

Full 3D in Motion? With motion tracking? and vector-based painting? SCORE!

A comprehensive new color correction app? HUGE!

Even some improvements to Soundtrack Pro that will come in handy:
Surround mixing and stereo mixing in the same project, and more options
for dialogue replacement.

The only neglected area looks to be DVD Studio Pro - no change there
yet. Looks like we're still waiting on Blu-ray and HDVD to finalize.

But as for the rest, life looks very good. Shipping in May.

Cheers,
-Jamie

Either that... or you could have saved yourself a grand and splurged on Sony
Vegas that has been featuring all of that. I never used Final Cut and of
course don't mess with Apples... but I can say Vegas does the job... and if
you look at the price of Final Cut -vs- Vegas... hmmmm.
