Hi Mates!
I own a PARIS System III & a Mac G4 DUAL 1.25Ghz MDD (Model:
M8570) Machine.
My G4 only has 4 PCI Slots but the throughput is the best made
on a G4.
I was considering puting my PARIS EDS-1000x Cards & RME-Audio
HDSP 9652 Soundcard into an External PCI Expansion Chassis.
I was looking on eBay & found 2 basic types.
The Magma & The Avid.
I was wondering if you knew of the differences or what I should
be considering.
I know that the PARIS Cards are the Slower 32Bit with slower
Bit Depth & Mhz than the G4 itself.
I was wondering if you would recommend one over the other or
what factors to consider?
I wish to leave the remaining 3 PCI open in my G4 for Faster Cards.
What do you reckon - What would you guys reccommend?
