I would like to publicly say thanks to Mike Audet for his work on the
paris drivers. With his new adat.dll file I've just booted up my new
system, which is 4 eds, 4 mecs, and 21 MEC cards, including 7 adat
cards. Everything showed up and is locked to external wordclock (Lucid
GenX-192), no problems so far.
My next step is to get the PTHD/Logic 8 system connected and actually
stream over 48 tracks of adat to Paris, then eventually another 8 from
my virtual instrument rig, and then patch all the analog outboard on the
2 bus.
I'd also like say thanks to Kerry Galloway for helping me troubleshoot,
and for some great conversations over the past week. It's the community
that makes getting back into Paris a fun journey, even if the whole
thing is a little insane..
