I was going to add a third card (my spare) as I always seem to run out of
effect processing during mixdown (no limit always does it) on the global.
I wanted to use the extra card just so that I would be able to add more
to the global inserts - does golbal use card A DSP or? Anyone have any other
idea's. Also if you have a cable you want to move let me know?

The card assigned to Master is the one used for global. This is by
default card A, but you can assign other cards to be the master in the
config window.

Thanks - is there a better solution for this or? I just have to find another
cable set... Da Soniq still sells them I think...

If you must use 2bus plugs, your best bet is to keep the load on the
Master card as light as possible. This will save resources for Global
plug-ins. Personally I prefer to mix without any global inserts, then
process after the fact. You can import the stereo mix files back into
Paris and process on the channel strips, which gives you more options
for EQ and dynamics. The interconnect ribbons are easy enough to
make... find an electronic parts supplier and build them yourself.
