I am waiting for my PARIS to arrive and I am doing some research. What are
my options for syncing the PARIS on a Windows XP machine to my Atari ST
running Notator? Thanks.

Hey DJ... friend of yours??? ;-)

Seriously though... if you have a MIDI interface connected to the XP
machine, Paris will slave nicely to MTC generated by Notator.

Make sure you go here:

http://www.parisfaqs.com/

to get the XP drivers and install instructions. The link is at the
bottom of the XP specific section.

David.

Wow... I still have an STfm. Ever get the itch to ditch yours? If not, why
not? Just curious.

(who still owns a 1990 Steinberg SMPTE module and a copy of TWENTYFOUR).

Thanks! I bit the bullet and actually printed the manual.

I actually got mine from a friend a couple of years ago for $10 and it sat
in the corner gathering dust. I downloaded Master Tracks Pro and just got
used to the quick boot up and ease of sequencing on it. I still use 18 year
old samplers (S1000 and S950) so why not use a 18 year old computer? lol

Where did said unload occur? I need to sell mine.

W.
P.S. I still marvel at the fact that my old Atari was a 32-bit proc when PC
and MAC were still at 8-bit. And though the Atari was only 8mhz speed, the
PC was king by a mere 4mhz at that time. How things have since changed.
