Hi all,
Want to load new skins for my paris 1.80. Tried using the instructions, but
the explorer app has been renamed editor. Names have changed. DO have the
wrong version to work with these bitmaps.
If this is the problem is it worth moving to 2.0 or 3.0 using win98

They will play fine from any version into 3.0. The problem is going
backwards, and it's the auxes that do it because they work differently. You
can, in a pinch, clear every and I mean every aux and get it to play into
version 2.11/2.2.. versions before that I cannot say will work as I've not
tried it.

It's a PITA, and an unnecessary one. There is a tool called AntiPace out
there on the net that can remove that thorn since ID is too self absorbed to
give a crap about the former customer's rights. Doesn't work on a Mac, btw.
Gotta be PC.
