their vehicles at a fair value for the product (the 'employee
pricing' plan) sold FOURTY-ONE FREAKIN' PERCENT more cars &
trucks than in June of last year. Now some may say this just
pushed some cars that would have been sold later on in the year
into June, but even if that's the case... IF THE ECONOMY IS
GOING BANKRUPT, HOW ARE PEOPLE BUYING ALL THESE CARS???<

i believe this is not the way to go. how on earth
should this basic and overly absolutistic line of thinking
work in iran? with china? in 50 years, like it or not, id guess most islamic
countries will have the bomb. we better try to
find ways to deal with the deescalation concept now,
and be it because using force wont be an option forever.
theres a point where it doesnt help you if you have a
stronger military as your opponent. a nuked city is a nuked city.

there, thats my attempt to quickly sum up my views.

Conversely, if we had hit first out of Fulda, the Soviets would
have been backed up to the Weser River; if we had hit first out
of Braunschweig, they would have been backed up into the Elbe.
However, everyone knows we wouldn't strike first, therefore
probably damn near all of our ground forces would have been
killed.

You **DO** know when they would have done this, don't you? They
would have done this:

a.) In August, when most of you guys go on vacation - which
means more of your reserve troops would have been away in
Spain, Italy, etc. Even some of your active troops would try to
get away then to be with friends & family, etc,; so mainly
skeleton staffs would have been left to man their posts in the
German element.
b.) On a **weekend** in August... since you guys like to take
off at noon on Fridays (at l
