Hi Guys-

We need to get 12 tunes x 30 tracks out of CuBase (3) as wave files. All
edits must be preserved, but no EQ/Pan/Gain/Processing etc can accompany
the tracks.

What is the easiest way to export files from CuBase?
Logic has "Export all tracks as audio files". Is there something
similar in CuBase?

Appreciate the help

Ted

By "edits must be preserved" do mean that you want all the little
segments, or a single full length file per track?

David.

Check this out:

Although it costs around $30 or so...it has worked flawlessly for me when
pulling files from Cubase as WAV file / individual tracks.

Mike.

A single edited/rendered file per track.

Very easy to do. And quick. Create "parts" for all your audio files, and
drag the beginning of each part to the beginning of the project. Then select
your tracks and "bounce" (not export) your tracks. In the dialog that comes
up, tell Cubase to replace your files with the new ones. Your old files
won't be gone, they just won't show up as active in your project, and will
be placed in the Trash for you to decide what to do with them. If you erase
the files in the trash from your hard drive, you'll only be left with the
rendered files in the project's audio folder. If you'd rather not be so
destructive, open the project audio folder in Explorer, and sort the files
by date/time. That way you can easily see the rendered files, select them,
and copy them to an alternate folder.

Thanks David. I'll pass this along. It's for my brother,
who is switching mixing engineers on his wife's CD.
