Would U use Adat 20bit for main insert effect routing ? [message #84001]

Well would you consider a trade off if you would use that adat ports for bringing
digitally back to stereo main insert an external digital effect ?
Adat is 20 bits ,spdif out is already used for DA and 24bits are critical
for mixing details with outboard DA like Lavry or Mytek.
Recording is always 16bit.
I know Paris works at 24bit inside so would this round the stereo mix ?
Anyone tested this before ?
