Hey Deej -

Hows the whole systemlink deal working out for you? (or is it?)
I'm considering a stab at it here.

It works well, but................not always. DO NOT trust it for tracking
live sessions simultaneously to two computers. I had some wserious glitches
while doing this. For VSTi's is reliable enough to reccommend.

Cool. I wasn't really looking at it for tracking.. more for the VST farm kind
of thing (plugs and VSTi's). So you're finding the latency acceptable? Isn't
it exponential (or something) as you add more machines?

As always - thanks for the info!

Cheers,
Jon

If you are summing to a digital mixer, the latencies will be the same. Ig
you are streaming from the slave ato the Master DAW (the way I do it) then
if the buffers are set the same on both DAWs, the latency of the audio at
the master will be twicethe setting. To remedy this, you will need to set
the latency of the slave DAW to 1/2 the latency of the master DAW.. No
biggie when you're mixing.
