Rob,
That mix gelled perfectly. I am usually amazed by the talent
within this group. Your work was no exception. The vocal=20
blend was very nice in relation to the bed.
What did you use to get the fiddle so phat?

I have no idea what they were singing about though . . .

Dad-gummit, that sounds great! All the sounds are fabulous, and the singing

Well done!

Wow, sounds great. And those guys are hot. But if it's bluegrass in French
doesn't that make it Cajun? :)

Love the mix, love the song, love the playing. The last mandolin solo was
especially hot.

Thanks Sarah, actually, it is my understanding that for it to be Cajun, it
would need a squeaky old squeeze-box in there...!!!

Thanks Dave, guy by the name of Ray Legere on mando, he's mind boggling on
mando and fiddle as well. One of his many gigs is with "Bowfire", an
international touring act featuring different styles of fiddle/violin
playing from all over the world.

Smokin' hot mix, Rob. Great recording, performances, and final
production. Only negative - a tad light on the cowbell. See if you can
bring that up in the mix, please.

I got a Who concert dvd for my birthday yesterday. yay

Mama's got a squeeze box
She wears on her chest
And when Daddy comes home
He never gets no rest

'Cause she's playing all night
And the music's all right
Mama's got a squeeze box
Daddy never sleeps at night

Well the kids don't eat
And the dog can't sleep
There's no escape from the music
In the whole damn street

'Cause she's playing all night
And the music's all right
Mama's got a squeeze box
Daddy never sleeps at night

She goes in and out and in and out and in and out and in and out

She's playing all night
And the music's all right
Mama's got a squeeze box
Daddy never sleeps at night

She goes, squeeze me, come on and squeeze me
Come on and tease me like you do
I'm so in love with you
Mama's got a squeeze box
Daddy never sleeps at night

She goes in and out and in and out and in and out and in and out

'Cause she's playing all night
And the music's all right
Mama's got a squeeze box
Daddy never sleeps at night

Hey Rob
Freakin' hot band. The mix is great. I've noticed that Paris mixes have a
sort of "bias" towards a sort of "round" low midrangy end of things -in a
nice warm way. But its tough for me to get a nice sheen on the top end.
You nailed it.
Yee ha!

Very nice mix. Very nice.

The electric guitars were too far down in the mix, though. So was the
cowbell.

Aside from that....

And I also have no freakin' clue what they were singing about...

Nice. Will look great next to our signed Entwistle litho,
