Does anyone know what does Error code 1/1 mean?

I installed Mike Audet drivers.

This is what i get after installing Paris 3.0:

Mec is connected with a cable and turned on. Bought the Paris from Roginator.

Most likely culprit is an incorrect or incomplete install of the drivers - see this link for more info:

http://www.kerrygalloway.com/WikiPARIS/wikka.php?wakka=Error OneOne

This is a general resource for PARIS error codes:

http://www.kerrygalloway.com/WikiPARIS/wikka.php?wakka=BugsT roubleshooting

Best bet: start again in the install process, making very sure to complete each step before moving on. I "winged it" myself and paid the price Very Happy

If I remember from the last rebuild and install it was making sure the drivers took properly.

took a couple of passes with Mike's new drivers but once installed properly everything else went smoothly.

Drivers are really easy to install.

New hardware is found, you go to Have Disk option and guide it to the driver path. Driver properly reports a card and installation finishes ok.

Since i tried with the other cable (high quality SCSI) and the card gets detected, just one suspect is left: MEC. Yesterday i pulled out all the expansion cards out of it. But i still got the same problem.

I believe with different PCI voltage the card wouldn't work at all thus not be detected. So my bet is the MEC.

Solved.

For some reason Paris started working after i installed Chris Thoman driver, uninstalled it from Device Manager / System devices, then installed Mike Audet driver.

I know it sounds weird, but the Paris works now.

On the second thought i can't remember was MEC turned on when i was installing Mike Audet driver first time. Maybe that might be the source of the problem.
