I've heard that a couple of songs that I mixed were played on NPR a while
back and that another one that I recorded on a comedy CD is being used on
the soundtrack of some *animal house* genre movie that was made in Austin a
few years ago. I even heard a very brief snippet of one of my mixes in a
radio interview with an artist I recorded last year and I heard folks
talking about how they had heard a couple of songs I mixed on the radio here
but I've never once really heard one of my mixes on the radio.

I was driving down the road today surfing the channels and a song I mixed
and co-produced recently was playing on one of the local FM stations.

It was actually sorta' wierd for a few seconds. I wanted to call in and say
"Stop!!! It's not ready for this!!! I can do better!!!! and I started
picking it to pieces but then I just chilled because it actually held up
well and sounded good on the air.

It was a very gratifying feeling. I'll never forget it.
