Mine arrived today, and I am tempted to take a week off work to read it.
It is huge, very thorough and detailed, and wonderful for those of us into
engineering who have loved these recordings since they were released. If
you have been tempted but wondering whether it is worth the price, dive in.

Mine came today, too--can't wait. By the way, the Geoff Emerick
book is a great read also...

Are you talking about the big Mark Lewisohn book with all the details of
each session? I love that thing. I loved the story about getting that
piercing guitar sound in "Ticket To Ride" I think it was, and how they got
in trouble for abusing the board. Hours of fun for Beatle babies.

No, this is a completely new book, listing all the equipment, how it was
used, etc. Really an incredible effort. The form factor of the book is
the size of a box of 2" multitrack tape, and it weighs about 12 pounds.
