I'll start it out with an Audiophile FW probably, then it'll end up hosting
paris when I move to a mini chassis once this one's paid for itself. Main
reason I'm looking this far back is to have Intel chipset / 5 PCI slots that
will work w/Paris when that time comes and I can build it for about $200 and
a case/supply. Basically, I'm putting together a low cost rig for a band,
and once that project gets out of the red I'll upgrade to either a mac mini
w/boot camp and XP or a Dell Optiplex GX745 in the micro chassis. I'm
streaming out a stereo wav, a midi click and some midi lighting commands so
the demands are very light but the system has to be snappy as each set list
will flow from song to song with little to no space between tunes.
Thanks for the input, I'll look for M-Audio groups and see what the thinking
there is
