Hi Dimitrios,
Thanks so much for your encouragement. It means a lot. :)
My plan was to try to add a meter to no limit because I always wished it
had one, and I thought it was a manageable first project. It actually only
took me 2 nights with a friend just learning to read the c++, and then about
10 hours of figuring out how things worked through trial and error. I was
so pumped when it finally ran!
As for Eventighter, it sounds like that’s an algorithm issue, and that is
way out of my league.
I feel the same way about the Freak Q, and I’m going to see if the eq points
can be modified in the dsp code or not. That one is already on my to do
list.
Beyond that, I don’t want to say too much because I have no idea how hard
some of this stuff will be. I’m a novice programmer working on uncommented
code with no manual. But, I’m having a great time working on it, and I’ll
be doing all I can. I just don’t want people to hate on me if I run into
trouble and can’t deliver on something.
I’ll let you know when I’ve got some more news.
All the best,
Mike
