Hey guys,

We're putting some of the final tracking touches on the new Monkie CD so
we're down to the very end of the punch list. One of the songs we have is
called 'Hobo Rocket' and it might just be the signature tune of the CD. It's
about a bunch of hobos who build a rocket,

Shining hobo rocket
Dance across the sky
Heading for Uranus
Heard it's made of pecan pie

and we wanted to get a 'rocket taking off' sound without using a sample.
So, about half an hour of scraping my Les Paul on the side of my Savage amp
and a super resonant low pass filter and we're done with it.

Now THAT is what I find fun about recording.
