Knowing Tis he's probably smiling right now and thanking God for the
blessings he has. Anyone wishing to pass along good tidings, it would be
appreciated.

I certainly do wish him well. Gotta keep the chin up and keep on
plucking - of course you might miss some notes if you don't look down
every now and then.

Best wishes to Wayman, AA; sounds like he's the kind of person that
understands that the bodies we wear aren't what we are - they're just a
set of clothes, and borrowed clothes at that.

Wow, so sad to hear. I know Wayman is a man of strong faith and will
continue to do great things. I had the good fortune of working with him
briefly, as he was a Paris user, I transferred tracks to ADATs for his album
to be mixed at Cello Studios.

Tis sent me this message, thought I'd pass it along for those interested.
I'll be collecting your thoughts as well and sending to him as he doesn't
frequent this group.

Hello Friends,
My quest to get healthy still continues, so I plan to literally "take it
out" on August 25 with an operation that will be the best way to insure
that it will not return.

The procedure will remove the lower part of my right leg. This may sound
drastic but I have put it in God's hands and now have peace, knowing that
this is the best way to put this disease in check.

I have complete faith that with the Lord's blessings this surgery will
eliminate the cancer from my body and I'll soon be back on the road doing
what I do best. After recovery and rehab I plan to resume touring in the
Fall.

By the time January rolls around, I will be dancing on the deck onboard the
"Smooth Jazz Cruise" that I host annually. There is a lot more music inside
me, and once I am back on my feet, I look forward to sharing my joy with my
fans, friends and fellow musicians.

I thank you in advance for your prayers and well wishes.

Wayman

Wow, I remember him as a hoops guy. I guess part of a leg is a small price
to pay for a longer life. Hope he's doing as well as can be.
