I purchased the melodyne plug (loyalty upgrade) today. This thing is great. It streamlines the whole process of tuning a vocal track in your daw. Highly recommended. Comes as a vst/au/rtas bundle.

Second thing I tried was the (TDM only) Crane Song Phoenix plugin. This is well worth checking out if you mix with PT. It adds some of the qualities back in the sound that Paris exhibits.

Cheers,

TC

Oh yeah, should work in any city..

(ducking)

I also just tried the Massey plugins for Pro Tools (ducks again), very nice and nice price.. http://masseyplugins.com

Seriously, I haven't tried the Melodyne plug with paris. I used to use Cre8 as standalone with paris. My paris system has been getting less use lately.

Cheers,

TC

Yep, I can't say enough about Melodyne. I was talking to Aaron the other
night on MSN while I was working on edits and I'm sure he got tired of me
spouting the greatness of the plug in haha.

It's worth every penny.

I havent gotten it to work inside Paris, so use it stand- alone. Great app.
Only thing I use Autotune for is adding vibrato :)
