Friends on this forum,
Mike, as you all know has done a tremendous amount of work for all of us. I have a lot of Paris equipment that I would like to donate to him. He's aware. I had UPS pack up three big boxes with the stuff and then told me it would cost about $220 to ship. OUCH! I can pay for some but wondering if anyone is interested in a helping a bit. Mike and I were going to meet in Buffalo (I'm in Cleveland) but then COVID happened etc.
Anyways, what do you all think?
Thank you for your consideration
Ron Foley (Oui_Oui)

Rich,
Thank you so much for the donation I will be sending some of the equipment this week. By the way where are you located? I'm in Cleveland. Trying to find the nearest Paris user to Ohio.
Thanks again

I'm in San Diego, CA. I seriously hope I'm not the closest PARIS user to you.

As soon as I find out whether or not our government tax department will backflip on my C-19 "Jobkeeper" payment, I will donate as well! Still unsure ATM.
Thanks Ron and Mike.
Kim.

All,
Update: Thank you all for your donations. I've gone back to UPS, FDX and US postal service for shipping prices and due to Covid they're worse. FDX $346.50, USPS $404.65, and UPS 424.60. Also, I've found it may take up to 30 days to go through customs which is not a real issue but Mike may have to pay tax on the value of the items. I said each of the three boxes were worth $20. USPS said, "so you're spending $400 to ship something that's worth $60 total. Geesh. I've been in contact with Mike. Our options are to unpack the boxes, give him the exact contents and see what he actually wants and needs, or wait till this Covid thing calms down and meet him at the border or Buffalo.
In saying that, if it doesn't work out soon, I will return the donations until we figure it out. Thank you all again

Quite a bit. Mike said he can wait till the border opens but I thought I could open the 3 boxes, take pictures and he can choose he wants now and send it to him in one box then wait for the rest till later
Thank you for asking

Keep us posted, Ron.
Will 40 bucks U.S. help? (About $57 Australian)
If so, PM me your details.
Cheers.
